A quest in World of Warcraft is a task or set of tasks given by an NPC to a character that gives a reward when completed. A player can also find WoW quests from reading scrolls, right-clicking signs, opening containers, using certain items, or completing another quest (known as a chain quest).

wow quest helper exclamation point indicator You will find a quest by the gold exclamation over an NPC's head or on your minimap. Gold means it is an available quest and your at the necessary level to complete it.
