WoW Quests - Identifiers and
Icons Used For WoW Quests
A quest in World of Warcraft is a task or set of tasks given
by an NPC to a character that gives a reward when completed. A
player can also find WoW quests from reading scrolls,
right-clicking signs, opening containers, using certain items,
or completing another quest (known as a chain quest).
You
will find a quest by the gold exclamation over an
NPC's head or on your minimap. Gold means it is an
available quest and your at the necessary level to
complete it.
The
silver exclamation indicates that the quest will be
available after you gain a few levels.
This indicates
that the WoW quest has been completed.
This
indicates that the WoW quest is in progress.
These indicate
a repeatable WoW quest.
These are the primary indicators that characters use in
identifying quest related items. It's a fairly simple ID
system. WoW quests are an important tactical strategy in the
game, especially for faction reputation points. These
reputation points allow for faction specific items.
